Bagan dominant thanks to Prinann ton;
YMCA post 400-plus riding on two centuries

Maidan giant Mohun Bagan's decision to bat first after winning the toss worked out perfectly as they posted 213 losing just 3 wickets powered by unbeaten Prinann Dutta ton against Paikpara Sporting today in CAB first division league match at BCA Kalyani.
YMCA (Coll Br) buried IABC under pile of runs thanks to Ankit Dabas (158) and Rahul (114) centuries by amassing 404 all out in their innings while Kalighat ended the day on 64/1 after wrapping up Calcutta Pirt Trust for 222.
Other notable performances of the day were Bhawanipore bowler Prayas Roy Burman bagging 5-wicket haul against George Telegraph to bundle them 198 runs, Taha Ali carrying on his good form with the bat by smashing a fluent 141-ball 101 for Ballygunge United while opponents Dakshin Kolkata Samsad bolwer Aditya Sharma picked up 4 wickets.
Kidderpore posted a mammoth 408/7 against Sporting Union as Ashis Yadav made 124 not out, Ajmer Singh took Belgachia United to 392/9 with a 180 against Monoharpukur Milan Samity and Calcutta Police defeated United Club by 8 wickets in one day.
It was an eventful day in second division league today. Taltala Institute bowler Paramjit Singh took 7 wickets and City AC bowler Amrit Raj Upadhyay took 5 as both teams won thier respective matches in one day. However City AC opponent Amateur club bowler Abhishek Pandey's six-for went in vain.
In other matches Vinayakan Nair of South Subarban Club made 174, International Club batter Arup Saha scored 126 and YMCA (Chow Br) posted 454 runs in the first innings Arnab Sikdar and Saikat Mondal centuries.
Among bowlers High Court bowler Inder bagged 6 wickets.
