Tapan Memorial spinner Ramesh Prasad and Town Club bolwer Soumyadip Mondal were at their best with the ball as both of them registered five-wicket haul in their respective games in CAB first division league (group A) today.
Experienced spinner Ramesh helped Tapan Memorial bundle Shambazar for 237 runs at the end of the first day's play.
Ramesh removed both Shambazar openers Manu (22) and Toufik (33) after they put up a 48-run opening stand. Ramesh finished with a figure of 5-71.
Ayan Gupta highest scored for Shambazar Club with 115-ball 51.
In the other match Barisha ended the first day on 221/6 riding on Sumanta Gupta's fluent 82 off 72 balls and crucial 43 from Sayan Kumar.
Soumyadip bowled with discipline to bag 5 wickets for his team lealing just 62 runs.
