India sweep T20 series 3-0

India completed 3-0 T20 series cleansweep against West Indies after Indian pacers and a clinical Suryakumar Yadav won the last game by 17 runs at Eden Gardens today.
West Indies top order, chasing a target of 186 runs seemed clueless in front of Indian pacers as they were reduced to 100/6 in 11.5 overs.
Nicholas Pooran who has been really consistent with his bat has proved his worth in the WI side with a 41-ball 61 while Romario Sheperd (29) shown his all-round skills with 3 sixes and one boundary.
Harshal Patel was the highest wicket-taker for India with 3 for 22. Shardul Thakur who dismissed Pooran, Venkatesh Iyer and Deepak Chakar picked up 2 wickets apiece as India restricted Windies to 167/9.
Batting first India were reeling at 93/4 after skipper Rohit Sharma went back in the fourteenth over. Yadav along with all-rounder Venkatesh Iyer added 91 runs off the last 37 balls to take India to a fighting 184/5.
Yadav smashed 7 sixes and one boundary during his blistering 31-ball 65 run innings before being caught by Rovman Powell off Romario Sheperd in the last ball of their innings.
Youngster Iyer showed off his big hitting skills once again by staying unbeaten on 35 off 19 balls containing 4 boundaries and 2 sixes.
Earlier after losing Rituraj Gaikwad early India falied to score much till Rohit's wicket losing Ishan Kishan (34), Shreyash Iyer (25) before they could stich a big partnership.
