Anup hit triple ton in second division

Anup Chowbey scored 302 off 264 balls to help Vijay Sports Club post 481 in 82.4 overs against Friends Athletic Club in a second division match today.
"It was a great feeling scoring triple ton for my team. It is a big day for me. Triple ton is always special in any format of the game you are playing. The wicket had grass, but the ball was still coming to the bat nicely. I was putting away the bad balls," Anup said.
On the other hand, Rahul Thakur took a hat-trick to give Satya Sandhi win over City Athletic Club. Against Satya's 235, City could manage only 205 in 70.3 overs. Rahul returned with figures 5 for 64.
"I stuck to the bacics and bowled in the right areas. Felling good that I took a hat-trick, but what is important is my team won. I will try to carry on with the form in the matches to come this season," said Rahul.
In one of the first division matches, Pranab Prasad's 7 for 65, handed Police Athletic 9 wickets victory over Bhukailash Sporting Club.
On the other hand, in a CAB U-17 Junior Knockout match, riding an excellent 207 by Sk. Sarfaroz Hossain,Mainland Sambaran Cricket Academy beat Cricket Academy of New Alipore by 345 runs. In response to Mainland’s 450 for 5, New Alipore folded at 108 within 21 overs.
