Bowlers win it for Bengal Women's

Bengal Women's team held onto their nerves to snatch a thrilling 4-run win against Punjab in Womens Senior One Day Trophy today.
Punjab on 116/8 needed 10 runs to win off 18 balls when experienced Rumeli Dhar came to bowl and successfully defended the total. While Mehak Kesar was run out by Mita Paul, Sunita Rani (4) became Rumeli's victim as Punjab were bundled out for 121 runs.
Earlier put to bat first Bengal made 125 all out as Mehak Kesar starred with the ball for Punjab with 4 for 19. Opener Vanita made 33, Parna Paul added 25 and Gouher Sultana remained unbeaten on 32 in a low scoring match.
Bengal bowlers showed domination and with disciplined bowling defended the low total. Sukanya Parida picked up 4 wickets while Rumeli and Gouher took 2 wickets apiece to take wickets in regular intervals and did not let any big partnership get build.
Kanika Ahuja's fighting 44 went in vain as Bengal maintained their winning momentum.
