Upbeat Bengal aim for good start to
Syed Mushtaq campaign against Chattisgarh

Bengal will eye for a winning start to their Syed Mushtaq Ali trophy campaign when they take on Chattisgarh in tournament opener tomorrow at Guwahati.
Bengal are placed in Elite Group B along with Baroda, Karnataka, Maharashtra, and Services.
Bengal head coach Arun Lal said: "It's a good team. The players are gelling well and they are all eagerly waiting for the tournament. We have worked very hard, everybody included the support staff. They are all ready for this. This is a young team and hopefully we are going to do better than before."
"It looked like a good hard wicket. But it's a 8 o'clock start, so let's see how it plays. We'll take the final call about playing XI tomorrow morning," he added.
Under skipper Sudip Chatterjee Bengal batting lineup crafted with Abhishek Das, Abhimanyu Easwaran, youngsters Subhankar Bal, Ritwik Roy Chowdhury are expected to put up a dominating show.
Sudip has shown good form at recently concluded Bengal T20 Challenge being the highest run-getter while opener Abhishek, Ritwik, all-rounder Writtick Chatterjee were in good form with the bat too.
Addition of experienced campaigner Wriddhiman Saha will definitely boost Bengal batting while other talented young batters Kaif Ahamed, Shakir Habib Gandhi will be the ones to watch out for.
Bengal all-rounders Shahbaz Ahamad, Writtick and Karan Lal are expected to play pivotal role for Sudip's men.
In the bolwing department Bengal will highly rely on pacers Ishan Porel, Mukesh Kumar, Akash Deep, Alok Pratap Singh, Sayan Ghosh along with spinners Sujit Kumar Yadav, Pradipta Pramanik.
