All-round Arnab crushes Kharagpur
Blasters' knockout hopes

Krishnanagar Challengers skipper Arnab Nandi starred with both bat and ball to crush Kharagpur Blasters' hopes to qualify for semifinals in Byju's Bengal T20 Challenge today at Eden Gardens.
Arnab smahsed unbeaten 59 and picked up 3 wickets as Krishnanagar registered a 50-run victory in their last group league match and Kharagpur finish at fifth with 16 points, 2 points behind fourth placed Kolkata Heroes.
Put to bat first Krishnanagar amassed a fighting 157/3 in their quota of overs while Kharagpur were bundled out for a paltry 107.
Sambit Nag also bagged 3 wickets for Krishnanagar as Kharagpur batters couldn't shine in their must-win tie.
Skipper Kazi Junaid Saifi made 38 and experienced campaigner Gitimoy Basu scored 34 while other Kharagpur batters struggled in front of a disciplined Krishnanagar bowling attack.
Kanish Seth, Suraj Sindhu Jaiswal and Shreyan Chakraborty picked up 1 wicket apiece for Krishnanagar.
Playing the last of the tournament Krishnanagar openers Koushik Ghosh (24) and Anuj Kr Singh (29) stitched a fine 54-run partnership to help their team get off to a steady start.
Pradipta Pramanik removed Anuj and later combined with Abhimanyu Easwaran to run out Koushik. Krishnanagar skipper Arnab played a whirlwind 38-ball 59 not out along with wicket-keeper Agniv Pan by adding 65 runs off the fifth wicket.
Arnab hit 4 sixes and 3 boundaries while Agniv made 30 before being caught by Gitimoy Basu off Md Kaif.
