Bengal beat Barisha in practice match

Ahead of the Shahid Mushtaq Ali Trophy, Bengal today beat Barisha Sporting by 44 runs in practice match held at the Jadavpur University Salt Lake Campus Ground.
Batting first, Bengal overcome an early collaps, posting 171 for 7 in 20 overs, riding a 42 runs partnership between Promod Chandila (71) and Debrbraata Das (44*).
Thereafter, coming out to bat, Barisha batsmen struggle to get pass Bengal’s total, as they finished innings at 127 for 9 in 20 overs.
Among the bowlers, Mukesh Kumar took 2 for 29, while Jonty bagged 2 for 29 for Barisha.
For Bengal, it was the veteran Ashok Dinda, who bagged 2 for 19, helped by the still learning Kanishk Shet’s 2 for 19.
Also, spinner Pragyan Ojha and skipper Manoj Tiwary rolled fingers on the ball for Bengal, taking one wicket each.
