Ankur hits ton as EB win

East Bengal thrashed ABP Sports Club by 172 runs as Ankur Pal hit a fluent century and Ankit Mishra bagged 5-wicket haul to help Barisha Sporting defeated Tapan Memorial by 9 wickets in CAB One Day pre quarterfinal matches today.
Electing to bat first EB were reduced to 28/2 losing Ranjot Singh Khaira (16), Md Arif Ansari quickly (3) while Ankur played a patients innings of 127 runs off 107 balls to steady the ship and post a total of 298/8 in their quota of overs.
Subham Chatterjee added useful 42 runs in the middle while Abhirup Gupta hit a quickfire 32-ball 43 later for East Bengal while Abhijit Mal took 3 wickets for ABP.
Shreyan Chakroborty registered a 4-wicket haul while Durgesh Dubey and Arnab Nandi bagged 2 wickets apiece to bundle ABP out for 126 runs.
Put to bat first Tapan Memorial could only amass 101 losing all wickets as Ankit picked up 5 for 21, Golam Mustafa Jr bagged 2 leaking just 9 for Barisha.
While chasing the target Kazi Junaid Saifi hit 44 while Sudip Kumar stayed unbeaten on 36 to win the match in 25.4 overs.
