East Bengal, Bhowanipur clash in JC Mukherjee T20 final

Boosted by a thrilling derby win the semifinal East Bengal will lock horns with an upbeat Bhowanipur side in JC Mukherjee T20 tournament final at Eden gardens tomorrow.
Ranjot Singh Khaira and Ankur Das have done well with the bat for EB in the tournament as they are the highest and second highest run getter with 361 and 351runs respectively while Bhowanipur can rely on Kaushik Ghosh and Avishek Das who have also been batting well and scored 297 and 292 runs respectively so far.
“We will give our best, we have played good cricket so far and confident about our own game. The result is not in our hand but we want to play the way we have been playing in the tournament. Beating Mohun Bagan always feels good, we had a squad crafted with young players and we did it. We are ready for the final,” said East Bengal captain Arnab Nandi.
Bhowanipur skipper Sandipan Das said: “We are confident, have been beating good teams en route to the final. East Bengal is a good team and we are expecting a good game. Everyone is charged up both physically and mentally.”
Sayan Sekhar Mondal will play a key role while opening the innings for EB while experienced campaigner Abhishek Raman will give Bhowanipur much needed balance.
In the bowling department Suraj Sindhu Jaiswal, Soham Ghosh, Sayan Ghosh can give the opponent batters a tough competition as Bhowanipur will rely on Prabhat Maurya, Mukesh Kumar and Pradipta Pramanik.
All-rounders will have an important role play in the match as EB skipper Arnab, Bhowanipur capatain Sandipan, Pradipta Pramanik wll be ones t watch out for.
