All-round Bengal defeat Uttarakhand

Parna Pal and Mita Pal hit half-centuries while Shreyoshi Aich bagged 4 wickets as Bengal defeated Uttarakhand by 79 runs in Womens Senior One Day Trophy today.
Pur to bat first Bengal amassed 231/4 and restricted opponents to 152/9 to bag four points from the game.
Bengal opener Mita smashed 60 off 71 balls to lay the foundation for a fighting score while Parna played a fluent 73 not out off 71 balls in the middle.
Radha Chand bagged 2 wickets for Uttarakhand.
While defending Shreyoshi danced through Uttarakhand batting order and Gouher Sultana picked up 2 wickets as A Tomar fought a lone battle with the bat and stayed unbeaten on 82 till the end.
With this victory Bengal are now placed at second in the points table with 8 points from three matches.
