Rahul smashes 73-ball 165 as Young Bengal

CAB First Division One Day tournament started from today and four tons were scored in on the first day while Young Bengal Sporting Association scored 416/8 riding on Rahul Kundu's blistering 73-ball 165 in Second Division.
Rahul smashed 15 sixes and 11 boundaries enroute to his blistering knock and helped his team win by 200 runs.
ABP Sports club batter Abhijit Mal was the highest scorer of the day with 153 off 128 balls as he helped his club chase a challenging target of 289 runs and win by 9 wickets against Police Athletic while Suvankar Bal made 96-ball 107 for Calcutta Customs to beat Netaji Subhas Institute by 6 wickets.
Sujit Kr Yadav bagged four-wicket haul to power Town Club to beat Paikpara by 4 wickets while Shambazar batter Rahul Singh Rawat was another centurion of the day with unbeaten ton and Calcutta Port Trust posted a huge total of 331/8 thanks Debagni Basu's 92-ball 101.
Both the teams won their respective matches as Shambazar defeated Kidderpore Sporting by 7 wickets and Kumartuli Institute were bundled out for 232 runs against Calcutta Port Trust.
Mohun Bagan registered 7-wicket victory in their first match thanks to Jayojit Basu's 91 runs against Aikya Sammilani.
In other Second Division tournament matches Calcutta University's Abhishek Kr Paswan and Amateur Club bowler Arpit Nandi bagged 3 wickets apiece as both the team were victorious in their respective matches.
