I am fully charged: Ishan

9th January 2021
Bengal's pace spearhead Ishan Porel is fully charged and ready to fire on all the cylinders in Syed Mushtaq Ali tournament after a nine-month layoff.
Ishan said: "I have missed the Bengal T20 Challenge and it was a great initiative taken by CAB under those circumstances. Right now I am fully charged to play in this tournament and waiting to go. Hopefully Bengal will play well as a team, as a unit and do well in this tournament."
Ishan came back from Australia due to an injury and went through rehab at NCA to be a part of the Bengal squad for this tournament.
"The rehab process has been good. after coming from Australia I directly went to NCA, beenthere for almost 20 days. After coming back am feeling really good, doing well in the nets also so I am confident about doing well in the tournament," he said about the rehab process.
When asked about if there's any special aspect he has worked upon Ishan replied: "Actually there's no aspect that I have worked upon but after coming back from Australia I have worked more on my fitness. I am relying right now to be fit and be available for all the matches this season. If you see after almost nine months hopefully I'll get a game and do well, so the most important part for me right now is to be fit and keep going."
"The IPL experience has been good because the motive for me was learn something and gain experience out of it. I am quite happy that I have learnt, matured a bit as a player. Unfortunately I didn't get any game but have learnt a lot and hoping to utilize it in the tournament," Ishan addes about his IPL experience.
