CAB congratulates Mithu on being appointed natl selector

The Cricket Association of Bengal congratulated former India and Bengal player Mithu Mukherjee on her appointment as one of the selectors of All India Women's Selection Committee by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) recently.
CAB President Avishek Dalmiya congratulated her saying, "She has been a committed servant of the game both as a player and then in various capacities from being a coach to a selector. On behalf of CAB, I wish her all the best in her current avatar."
The five-member All-India Women's Selection Committee headed by Neetu David also has former India players Arati Vaidya, Renu Margrate and Venkatacher Kalpana.
An elated Mithu said to CAB Media: “I am very happy and excited for this new role. It's a huge responsibility and our only aim is to win World Cup in the coming years. To win both ODI & T20 World Cup we will do everything and get ready in the best way possible."
"Experience matters in cricket and I think having experienced people in the committee will help up find good players across the country. I have been linked with this game for over 40 years and it is the love for the game that still keeps me going," she added when asked about the new job.
