Ex-Bengal cricketer donates 25k to corona aid in memory
of his late father

Former Bengal cricketer Judhajit Mukherjee today donated Rs 25,000 through The Cricket Association of Bengal to the Hon’ble Chief Minister's Relief Fund for fighting the Corona pandemic.
Judhajit, who represented Bengal and East in U15 and U19 and played for Sporting Union, DKS and Rajasthan Club, said: "In these troubled times I thought it only fitting to come forward and join the battle against Corona. This small token is my contribution. I have expressed my desire to contribute the same to the honorary Secretary Snehashis Ganguly."
Judhajit had recently lost his father Sri Rathindranath Mukherjee who played for Bhowanipore and Excelsior club and later as a grade one umpire continued to serve Bengal Cricket. Judhajit donated the money in his memory.
