Senior Bengal Women's team thrash Goa

Bengal Senior Women's Team continued their winning momentum by registering a commanding 92-run victory over Goa in Womens Senior One Day Trophy today.
Electing to bat first Bengal batters dominated the game as Paramita Roy highest scored with a superb 92-ball 63.
Paramita added 88 runs off the second wicket with Dhara Gujjar after losing Aparna Mondal on 10 early.
Dhara missed out on a well-deserved half-century as Sunanda bowled her out on 49.
Skipper Jhulan Goswami (38) and Mita Paul (30) batted wonderfully to make sure Bengal post a good total of 242/8 in their quota of overs.
Shrey was the highest wicket taker for Goa with 3 wickets for 46 runs.
While defending Gouher Sultana gave Bengal the much needed breakthrough by removing Shrey on 14 to reduce Goa to 36/1.
After that Bengal bowlers kept taking wickets in regular intervals while making sure they don't leak much runs.
Gouher caught and bowled Goa skipper Sanjula Naik who fought a lone battle with 81-ball 36 to break her 52-run partnership with Sunanda (31).
Mita and Dhara starred with the ball also taking 1 wickets apiece.
