Md Sporting win; Monu bags 7 to bundle Salkia for 74

In CAB First Division Group B & C matches Vikash Singh's five-for helped Md Sporting defeat Kidderpore by 2 wickets while Abhijit Mal's 144 went in vain and BNR Recreation Club's Anirban Gupta also bagged 5 to beat Kolkata Police Club in a low-scoring match today.
Netaji Subhas Institute skipper Dipanjan Mukherjee's fighting 154 went in vain as they fell short off 47 runs chasing 424-run target set by ABP SP Club.
Also Tanmay Pramanik and Devendra Singh half-centuries helped Eastern Railway Sports Association overcome Sporting Union by 2 wickets and Belgachia United won by 5 wickets.
In Second Division matches, Monu Paswan starred with the ball taking 7 wickets to power South Subarban Club to a huge 267-run victory and Narkeldanga Sir Gooroodas Institute rode on Partha Kundu and Subham Singh tons to beat Sarat Samity by 7 wickets.
Thanks to Monu, South Subarban Club bundled Salkia Friends Association for a paltry 74 runs defending a total of 341 runs.
Dilip Singh Yadav was another star performer of the day with unbeaten 100 to help White Border Club win by 4 wickets.
Calcutta University Institute, National Athletic Club, Sahapur Sporting and Bata Sports Club were also victorious.
