Chirag ton lifts Barisha; Town Club
steady against East Bengal

Barisha Sporting rode on Chirag Pathak century to amass 314/8 against George Telegraph at the end of the first day's play in CAB First Division League Group A match today.
Batting first Prayas Ray Burman smashed a 100-ball 75 along with Chirag's 129 to put Barisha in a strong position while Shambazar took first innings lead in just one day over Police Athletic Club thanks to Mithilesh's 5-wicket haul.
In the other matches Gitimoy Basu and Nishant Dave hit half-centuries as Town Club posted 239/5 against Maidan giants East Bengal while Kunal Kumar was another five-wicket taker of the day as the Aryan bowler bundled Tapan Memorial Club for 187 runs.
Bhowanipur also ended the in a strong position with a total of 283/7 on the scoreboard against Paikpara.
