Delhi U23 lead by 249 runs against Bengal at the end of the third day of the Col C K Nayudu trophy at JU Second Campus today.
Earlier Ranjot Kharia and Shakir Gandhi half-centuries helped Bengal post 203 all out while the visitors ended the day on 100/2.
Bengal batsman Ranjot Singh Kharia made an impressive 50 runs for 61 balls before being dismissed by Vishvash Malik.
Wicket keeper Agniv Pan made 41 runs for 83 balls before being dismissed by Manjot Kalra and Siddhant. Shakir Habib Gandhi made 56 runs out of 104 balls, remaining unshook.
Delhi bowlers Siddhant, Vishvash Malik and Yogesh Sharma took 6 wickets for 39 runs, 1 wicket for 51 and 3 wickets for 44 runs respectively.
After that Delhi batsmen on their second innings made 100 runs in 32 overs at the loss of 2 wickets. Manjot Kalra scored 43 runs for 53 balls before being bowled by Sandipan Das.
Vikas Solanki scored 8 runs for 16 balls before being dismissed by Agniv Pan and Pradipta Pramanik.
Yogesh Sharma and Ankur Ramesh Kaushik remain unbeaten scoring 3 runs for 16 balls and 43 runs for 108 balls respectively. Delhi has added 100 more runs to its bag in 32 overs at the loss of 2 wickets.
