Young brigade led the charge as Bengal outplayed Gujarat to grab crucial 3 points in a rain-curtailed Ranji Trophy encounter that concluded today at Eden Gardens.
Commencing the day at 169/7 Gujarat batters could add only 25 more runs as Akash Deep and Ishan Porel cleaned up the tail quickly and gave the hosts a chance to bag as much as point possible from a game that saw barely 140 overs bowled.

Easwaran's fantastic innings came to an end after being removed by Tejas Patel on 42 while Manoj made a patient 81-ball 37.
Afte that experienced Shreevats Goswami (29) and the debutant helped Bengal earn the crucial first innings lead.
Riwtik scored 53 not out off 67 deliveries while Shahbaz showed off his batting skills to score unbeaten 27 and end the game on 239/5.
