Chirag, Sumanta tons lift Barisha;
WB Police win in second division

Chirag Pathak amd Sumanta Gupta hit centuries as Barisha dominate against Paikpara Sporting after declaring on a huge total of 436/6 at the end of the second day's play in CAB First Division League (Group A) today.
Resuming the day on 117/1 Barisha lost Varun Gandhi for 85 runs while Chirag and Sumanta stiched a 82-runs partnership.
Chirag went back scoring 107 while Sumanta remained unbeaten till the end on 103 and Paikpara batted for 4 overs to score 9 runs without losing any wicket.
In second division league WB Police outplayed Cricket Club of Dhakuria by 6 wickets chasing a target of 319 runs thanks to Sachin Das and Debanjan Das tons.
Vijay Sports Club bowler Diganta Das bagged a five-wicket haul against Ariadaha while Howrah Sporting and Excelsior Club emerged victorious in nust one day.
