Bagan, EB matches interrupted due to rain

All four First Division League matches including Mohun Bagan and East Bengal's league openers got interrupted due to rain today.
East Bengal bowler Susanta Das' fiery bowling on a rain affected day helped the maidan giants dominate against Barisha Sporting Club today at Eden Gardens in the 35 overs played while Town Club's Ananta Saha also bagged 3 wickets.
Susanta bagged 3 for 24 while Aamir Gani took 1 to restrict the opponents to 84/4 before the play was called off due to rain and bad light.
Bagan's opener against Paikpara Sporting was also stopped after 10 overs in which the maidan giants lost their experienced opener Jayojit Basu.
At YMCA ground the game between Aryan and Shambazar saw only 6 overs being bowled as the latter one bagged one early wicket for 13 runs.
