Amit's six-for powers East Bengal to huge win

Boddupalli Amit danced through danced through George Telegraph Institute batting lineup in the first innings to bag 6-wicket haul while spin duo Arnab Nandi and Aamir Gani wreaked havic in the second innings to help East Bengal emerge victorious in just 2 days in CAB First Division League Group A today.
Earlier East Bengal declared on 414/8 and George Telegraph could make om 145/9 in first innings as Amit bagged 6 for 54 runs.
In the second innings Arnab took 3 while Gani picked up 4 to bundle them for a paltry 56 runs and win by an innings and 213 runs in just two days.
Another Maidan giant Mohun Bagan also bagged full points due to first innings lead.
Nilkantha Das and Sourav Mondal bagged 3 wickets apiece to bundle Bhowanipur for 293 runs and Jayojit Basu (103) hit a quickfire ton inthe second innings for Bagan.
In other matches Geet Puri bagged 4 wickets as Town Club lead by 125 runs against and Tapan Memorial lead by 69 runs at the end of the second day's play.
Paikpara skippe4 Vinayak Shukla starred with the bat by hitting unbeaten 114 off 195 balls to earn 3 points in a drawn game against Police Athletic Club.
