Railways win

15th November 2019
Railways middle order along with Kanishk Seth's quickfire innings helped them beat Bengal U23 by 2 wickets in Mens Under 23 One Day trophy today.
Abhishek Pandey (53), Jatinder Singh (89) and Vineet Dhaka (60) resurrected Railways' innings after their top order collapsed in front of Bengal bowlers.
Chasing a target of 277 runs Railways rode on these three half-centuries to build the foundation while Kanishk's cameo of 26 off just 7 balls sealed the deal for them.
Sandipan Das bagged a five-wicket haul leaking just 85 runs but couldn't save the day for Bengal.
Earlier electing to bat first Bengal amassed 276/6 in their quota of overs as Sudip Gharami continued his fine form with 83-ball 66 while Kazi Saifi (66) and Ranjot Kharia (52 not out) also played crucial roles.
While chasing Bengal get rid off opponent's openers early to reduce them to 42/2 but Abhishek and Jatinder steadied the ship to help Railways bag full points.
