Players start knock out on a roll

The players looked in some spurring form as the CAB senior and Junior knock out tournaments starts today. 
In the senior section, Tapan Memorial beat Sporting United by 53 runs, while Tallygunge beat Kolkata United by 19.
On the other hand, W.B. Police club clinched victory against Dalhousie by 4 wickets.
Topping the bowlers, Rahul Shetty of Kolkata Union Sporting Club took 5 for 25. Among the other wicker takers were, Anirban Gupta, Promod Chandila, Nishant Rai and Pritam Biswas.
In the Junior division, riding an excellent 108 by Kashis Kamran, Howrah beat International club by 135 runs.
In the second division league, Amateur Cricket Club beat Bani Niketan Sports by 7 wickets. 
  On the other hand, Soumyadeep Roy of Central Calcutta Sporting hit 177 off 236 balls against Bata Sports Club to post 387 for 9 in 85 overs.  
Among the other centurions were, Sourish Chakraborty, Raman Singh, Pushpendu Pahari, Amarjeet Jha, Rajarshi Dutta and Arup Kumar Saha.
In the bowling department, Md. Safique of Howrah pulling off a hat-rick against Friends Athletic.
Dipan Gayen and Yash Mehta took seven wickets each, handing advantage to their respective sides.
Among the others, Abhishek Pandey clinched 6, followed by Raj Kumar, Abhijit Mondal and Animesh Mondal's 5 wickets each.
