Mohunlal Club dominate despite
Siddhartha's seven-wicket haul

South Suburban Club bowler Siddhratha Singh fought a lone battle picking up seven wickets but couldn't affect the runrate much as Mohunlal Club batters somehow managed to post a huge 344 all out in CAB Second Division League Championship Playoff pre quarterfinal match today.
Suraj Kumar (51), Swarup Ghosh (71) and Abhijit Rai (50) half-centuries steadied Mohunlal Club.
In another pre quarterfinal match Akash Das' unbeaten 120 along with Soham Das' patient 79 powered Shibpur Institute to a mammoth 379/8 against Bantra Cricket Club while Subham Paswan bagged 5 wickets.
Apart from these two high-scoring matches two quarterfinal matches were also played today where in one match Anjit Mandal and Sourav Dawn bagged 4 wickets apiece to help Burpur Cricket Club bundle Cricket Club Bhowanipore for 228 and Baranagar Club also bundled for a paltry 219 runs by Calcutta Police Club.
