DK's 97* in vain as Parag, Archer win it for Rajasthan

Jofra Archer's late fireworks along with youngster Riyan Parag's brilliant innings helped Rajasthan Royals snatch a 3-wicket victory against Kolkata Knight Riders at Eden Gardens today.
This was Kolkata's sixth loss in a row to make their hope to reach knockouts mpre difficult.
Put to bat first Knights could only manage 175/6 in their quota of overs thanks their skipper Dinesh Karthik who stepped up to hit an unbeaten 97 off 50 balls.
The KKR skipper promoted himself up the order and got off to a slow start but as the wickets fell around him, Karthik showed his class and smashed 9 sixes, 7 boundaries to post a fighting total.
The top order again disappointed KKR, Russell went back on just 14 and Varun Aaron bowled a fiery spell of 20-2 to make things worse for the hosts but somehow DK saved them with his bat.
While chasing Ajinkya Rahane (34) and Sanju Samson (22) helped Rajasthan get off to a brisk start and the match was looking set for the visitors.
But veteran spinner Piyush Chawla (3-20) combined with Sunil Narine (2-25) to bring Knights back into the game.
When things were looking in favour of the home team the youngster Parag played an fluent innings of 47 runs off just 31 balls to steady the ship while Archer hit a quickfire 27 off 12 balls to finish the match.
