Police no match to Borisha in first division

Borisha discomfited W.B. Police Club by an innings and 154 runs to secure full points in a CAB first division match today here in Maidan.
Followed by an excellent triple ton by Purab Joshi, the bowlers had already done the task before leaving the field last night, reducing Police to 144 for 7. The rest three were clinched this morning, with Police polishing off at 207 in 32.2 overs. Alok Prasad Singh topped the bowling barrel for Borisha, bagging 5 for 59.
In another match, Ajay Shitol hit 181 to take Paikpara to 458 against 353 of Geroge Telegraph, putting in seven points with the first innings lead, while Geroge had to be satisfied with three.
On the other hand, Ravindra Singh and Mithun Mukherjee bagged seven wickets in two matches, but both went down to a draw with the teams sharing points depending on the first innings lead.
Among those scoring centuries were Abhishek Mitra, Ompal Boken, Nitya Nanda Maji, Sudip Rakshit, Abhinav Dixit and Bhima Rao Pemmi.
