Town discomfit Indian Boys in first division

Town discomfited Indian Boys Athletic Club by an innings and 247 runs in a CAB first division league match today here in Maidan.
Chasing Town’s first innings 570, Indian Boys were bundled at 186 within 45 overs, after a poor display in the first essay of 137 runs. While Town got ten points from the match, Indian Boys got nothing.
In another case of innings defeat, West Bengal Sporting beat Kumartuli by an innings and six runs, riding a five wicket haul by Soumya Pukrey.
Chasing down 69, Mohun Bagan thrashed M.d Sporting by ten wickets. After a collapse in the first innings for 165, M.d. Sporting ended up the second essay at 173, managing a lead of 68 runs which was chased down by Bagan within 7.5 overs.
However, after a poor batting display in the first essay, Aikya Sammilani denied East Bengal ten points, putting up an excellent second innings fight, ending up at 328 for 8 in 88 overs. East Bengal declared at 303 for 7 in their first innings.
