Bengal T20 League women’s final

Adamas Howrah Warriors will take on Murshidabad Kueens in the summit clash of the Bengal T20 League Season 3 women’s competition after both the teams bagged wins in their respective semifinal matches.
In the first semifinal at the JU, 2nd Campus Ground, Bristi Maji’s brilliant unbeaten 97 off 61 went in vain as Adamas Howrah Warriors beat Shrachi Rarh Tigers 19 runs.
Put into bat, Howrah Warriors got off to a flying start, thanks to Sujata Dey (77 off 56) and Ankita Chakraborty (46 off 42).
However, late wickets helped Rarh Tigers restrict Howrah Warriors to 159/5 in 20 overs. Piyali Ghosh was the pick of the bowlers bagging 3 for 24.
Bristi stood out as the lone fighter in the run chase as Rarh Tigers lost wickets at regular intervals, scoring 140/9 in 20 overs. Enroute her brave knock, Bristi hit six fours and 8 sixes.
Sreyoshi Aich (4-18) and Remondina Khatun (2-23) were the star bowlers for Howrah Warriors.
In the second semifinal, Murshidabad beat Siliguri Strikers by 7 wickets.
Siliguri Strikers posted 129/7 in 20 overs, thanks to Dyuti Paul (49 off 45) and Priyanka Bala (45 off 39).
Tanushree Sarkar (3-30) and Jahanbi Raj Paswan (2-22) were the pick of the Murshidabad bowlers.
In reply, Murshidabad went over the line scoring 130.3 in 18.1 overs. Shivanshi Tiwari (58 not out off 55) was the star batter.
