Bengal colts too hot for Goa

Bengal colts need 75 runs more to win on the third day in Cooch Behar Trophy Under-19 encounter here at Jadavpur University cricket ground.
Resuming the day at 57/2, Bengal suffered a batting debacle as Bengal reduced to 135 for 9, trailing Goa by 11 runs Suraj Singh Jaiswal and Souvik Paul fought 10.4 overs and ensured Bengal achieved a marginal lead of 12 runs. The duo added 33 runs for the last wicket as Bengal innings finished on 158. Skipper Abhijeet remained the highest scorer with his 44.
On reply, Bengal avenged their batting collapse by bundling out Goa for 90 in just 42.4 overs. Suraj Singh Jaiswal and Akash Pandey stole the show with four wickets each, while Souvik Paul took care of two visitors. Chasing 79, Bengal batted out final two overs with due caution and finished at 4/0.
