10th December 2017
Bengal Colts need to defend 305 runs on the final day as Haryana staged staunch resistance in the second innings chasing 376 runs on third day of Cooch Behar Trophy Under 19 encounter at Chaudhry Bansi Lal Crikcet Stadium, Lahli.
Skipper Sudeep Gharami stood tall scoring a well-constructed 109 as Bengal lost wickets at regular intervals. Bengal middle-order collapsed cheaply leaving Bengal at 191/9. Aksah Pandey and Roshan Singh added vital 47 runs for the last wicket as Bengal finished their second innings on 238 leading Haryana by 375 runs. However, chasing 376, the hosts seemed to be in no mood to replicate first innings debacle as cautious Haryana finished Day 3 at 71/1.Suraj Sindhu Jaiswal got the solitary wicket.
