Bengal colts' pacers ripped apart Haryana batsmen as the visitors had a lead of 227 runs at the end
of Day 2 in Cooch Behar Trophy Under-19 encounter here at Chaudhry Bansi Lal Cricket Stadium, Lahli.
Bengal managed to add 37 runs to the overnight total as they finished their first innings on 207.Bengal bowlers blazed their guns from the very first delivery as Suraj Singh Jaiswal scalped Vaibhav Rakheja.Bengal bowlers went in partnership as they floored the host batsmen.Jaiswal did the maximum damage by scalping 5 for 32 in 15 overs. While, Roshan Singh and Akash Pandey picked up two wickets each,Prayas Roy Burman took a wicket to bundle out the host for paltry 70 by securing a lead of 137. In the second innings, Bengal started off steadily as they finished Day at 90/1 with 227runs lead.Skipper Sudeep Gharami remained unbeaten on 61 and Dibya accompanied him.
