A brilliant all-round performance helped Behala Kishore Bharati Girl’s High School outclass Balia Nafar Chandra Balika Vidyalaya by 9 wickets in the final match on Saturday to emerge champions of the CAB Under-16 Girls School Cricket Tournament.
Opting to bat, Balia Nafar Chandra Balika Vidyalaya managed only 110/4 in 34 overs. Sikriti Debsharma (66) top-scored for her side.
Papriya Das (3-15) was the pick of the bowlers for Behala Kishore Bharati Girl’s High School.
In reply, Behala Kishore Bharati Girl’s High School chased the target down scoring 111/1 in 15.5 overs. Ishani Majumder (37 not out) and Debosmita (34 not out) impressed with the bat.
