Bengal U23 batters were put to a tough test against Mumbai in the Col C K Nayudu Trophy Elite in Mumbai on Sunday.
Mumbai posted 538 in their first innings, thanks to Suryansh Shedge (132).
In reply, Bengal were bowled out for 283 in their first innings. Sukhmeet Singh scored a fighting 69.
Following on, Bengal, in their second innings, were 98/3 at stumps on Day 3, trailing by 157 runs. Chandrahas Dash (50) and Vishal Bhati (21) remained unbeaten.
