Dominant Bengal script back-to-back wins in Women’s
U-15 One-Day Trophy

Reigning champions Bengal began their title defence with back-to-back dominant victories in the Women’s Under-15 One-Day Trophy Elite.
On Sunday, at the St Xaviers KCA Cricket Ground, Trivandrum, Bengal outclassed Maharashtra by 8 wickets.
Opting to bat, Maharashtra lost wickets at regular intervals and were bundled out for 87 in 31.1 overs.
For Bengal, Ariktha Manna (5-13), Salma Khatun (3-19), Snigdha Bag (1-17) were superb with the ball.
In reply, Bengal went over the line comfortably, scoring 89/2 in 20 overs.
Adrija Sarkar (26 not out off 35), Nishtha Jana (25 not out off 33) were the pick of the Bengal batters.
