Bengal U-16 bowlers were made to toil hard against Mumbai on Day 1 in the Vijay Merchant Trophy Elite in Bhubaneshwar on Tuesday.
At stumps, Mumbai were 302/2 in their first innings. Aayush Shete scored a fine unbeaten 139 while Harsh Shailesh Kadam (57 not out) and Rishabh S (55) also impressed.
For Bengal, Triparna Samanta and Sayak Jana claimed one wicket each.
