Bengal bag fourth straight win in Women’s U19 One-Day Trophy

Bengal beat Saurashtra by 24 runs on Friday to inch closer to Women’s Under-19 One-Day Trophy Elite knockouts.
The win helped Bengal register their fourth successive victory of the tournament.
Batting first in Mumbai, Bengal scored 235 in 42.4 overs. Skipper Ipsita Mondal (66 off 72), Diya Nandi (47 off 64), Priyanka Goldar (42 off 40) were the star batters.
In reply, Saurashtra were bowled out for 211 in 48.4 overs.
Priyanka (4-32), Ipsita (3-35), Chandrima Biswas (2-26) were superb with the ball for Bengal.
