A fine bowling display helped Bengal U-16 team reduce Kerala to 165/8 in 94 overs in their first innings at stumps on Day 1 in the Vijay Merchant Trophy Elite in Cuttack on Thursday.
Triparna Samanta (3-41), Uthsav Shukla (2-27), Prabin Chhetri (1-29), Md Ashif (1-26) were the star bowlers for bowlers.
Dheeraj Gopinath (62) top-scored for Kerala.
