Bengal bag third straight win in Women’s U-19

Riding on a brilliant all-round show, Bengal beat Kerala by 23 runs on Wednesday to register their third successive victory of the Women’s Under-19 One-Day Trophy Elite.
Batting first at the Dadoji Konddev Stadium, Thane, Bengal posted a challenging 265/6 in 50 overs.
Skipper Ipsita Mondal (97 off 116), Shivanshi (48 not out off 53), Prativa Mandi (43 off 66), Adrija Sarkar (34 off 28) were the star batters for Bengal.
In reply, Kerala were bowled out for 242 in 49.4 overs.
For Bengal, Jahanbi Raj Paswan (4-43), Prativa (4-50) were superb with the ball.
