Bengal bag first innings lead after draw vs Assam in

Bengal U-16 men's team bagged first innings lead after their Vijay Merchant Trophy Elite match against Assam ended in a draw in Bhubaneshwar on Tuesday.
Bengal pocket three points from the match while Assam grab one.
Earlier, after bowling out Assam for 150 in their first innings, Bengal scored 236 to bag a vital lead.
Assam, in their second innings, scored 253/3 at stumps on the third and final day. Nihal Baishya (117) and Aman Yadav (100) scored fine centuries each.
For Bengal, Rajesh Mondal, Triparna Samanta and Prabin Chhetri claimed one wicket each.
