Bengal goes down to Pondicherry in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy

Bengal went down to Pondicherry by 81 runs in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy Elite match in Hyderabad on Saturday.
Batting first, Pondicherry scored 177/5 in 20 overs. Aman Khan scored a fine 74 off 40.
For Bengal, Md Shami was the pick of the bowlers bagging 3 for 34 in 4 overs while Writtick Chatterjee claimed two.
Chasing the target, Bengal were bowled out for 96 in 13.5 overs. Karan Lal top-scored with 23-ball 40.
For Pondicherry, JJ Yadav bagged four wickets.
