Bengal goes down in Cooch Behar Trophy

Bengal put up a fight before going down to Chhattisgarh by 85 runs in the Cooch Behar Trophy Elite match in Bhilai on Thursday.
Earlier, after bowling out Chhattisgarh for 175 in their first innings, Bengal scored 145. Chhattisgarh, in their second innings, scored 283 to hand 314-run target to Bengal.
Chasing the target, Bengal were bowled out for 228 on the fourth and final day.
Ashutosh Kumar (50 not out) and Kushal Gupta (56) played fighting knocks for Bengal.
For Chhattisgarh, Dhananjay Nayak bagged five wickets.
