Kushal, Virat bag 4 each for Bengal in Cooch Behar

A fine bowling effort helped Bengal bowl out Chhattisgarh for 175 in their first innings on Day 1 in the Cooch Behar Trophy Elite match in Bhilai on Monday.
Virat Chauhan (4-29) and Kushal Gupta (4-24) were the pick of the bowlers while Rohit Kumar Das and Rohit claimed one each for Bengal.
In reply, Bengal were 48/5 at the end of the day’s play with Ashutosh Kumar (17) and Virat (11) remaining unbeaten.
Rudra Pratap Dehari bagged 3 wickets for Chhattisgarh.
