MAYOR'S CUP 2025-2026 SEASON BEGINS

The Mayor's Cup, Inter School Under-15 Cricket Tournament 2025-2026 commenced at the 22 Yards Sports School Ground on Friday.
In the opening match, Kamrabad Uchcha Vidyalaya after winning the toss opted to bat against Cathedral Mission High School.
This season, a total of 64 schools, divided into 16 groups, will participate in the tournament. After the first round, the top two teams from each group will qualify for the next stage.
Prior to the opening game, an inaugural ceremony was held in presence of top CAB officials and members.
Present for the ocassion were CAB Vice President Mr Nitish Ranjan Dutta, CAB Joint Secretary Mr Madan Mohan Ghosh, CAB Treasurer Mr Sanjay Das, Bengal's Ranji Trophy winning captain Mr Sambaran Banerjee, CAB School Committee Chairman Mr Subhradeep Ganguly, CAB Senior Tournament Committee Chairman Mr Pradip Kr Dey, CAB Observers Committee Chairman Mr Srimanta Kumar Mallick, CAB Grounds Committee Chairman Mr Amitava Auddy, CAB Umpires Committee Chairman Mr Prosenjit Banerjee, CAB Apex Council Member Mr Joydeep Mukherjee along with members of various CAB committees and Junior Selection Committee members.
