A brilliant batting performance by Subham Singh (129), Prayas Ray Barman (61), Sumit Nag (51 not out) put Bengal Under-23 team in driver’s seat against Assam in the Col C K Nayudu Trophy Elite in Guwahati on Friday.
Bengal were 336/7 in 94 overs in their first innings at stumps on Day 2, with a lead of 203 runs.
Earlier, Assam were bundled out for 133 in their first innings. Bengal’s Ravi Kumar bagged 6 for 39.
