Bengal go down to Punjab in Senior Women’s T20 Trophy

Bengal went down to Punjab by four wickets in the Senior Women’s T20 Trophy Elite at the VCA Stadium, Nagpur on Saturday.
Sushmita Ganguly’s (3-15) brilliance with the ball and Tanushree Sarkar’s (33, 2-16) all-round show went in vain.
Put into bat, Bengal managed to score 129/7 in 20 overs. Besides Tanushree, Dhara Gujjar (39) and Mita Paul (22) made useful contributions.
In reply, Punjab went over the line scoring 130/6 in 17.1 overs.
