Abishek’s 54 guides Bengal to 100/3 on Day 2 in practice
match vs Jharkhand

Bengal managed to reach 100/3 in 22.1 overs in their first innings at stumps on Day 2 against Jharkhand during the second practice match at the Bengal Cricket Academy in Kalyani on Saturday.
Abishek Porel (54 off 41) and Kazi Junaid Saifi (31 not out off 52) were the pick of the Bengal batters. Subham Chatterjee remained unbeaten with Kazi.
Earlier, Jharkhand scored 398 in their first innings, thanks to Sharandeep Singh Bhatia (139) and Anukul Roy (103).
For Bengal, Md Kaif bagged 3 for 43 while Ishan Porel, Saksham Chaudhary, Aamir Gani, Karan Lal, Shreyan Chakrabarty, Sandipan and Sumit Mohanta claimed wicket one each.
