Prayas bags 5 as Bengal script easy win in U-23

Riding on a dominant bowling performance, Bengal outclassed CAP President XI by 63 runs in the Under-23 Men’s Inter State Multi-Day (Two-Day) Tournament (Siechem Trophy) in Pondicherry on Saturday.
Bengal’s Prayas Ray Barman (5-28) was awarded the player of the match for his brilliant bowling effort.
Batting first, Bengal posted 250, thanks to Rohit Ram (53) and Ayush Kumar Singh (52).
In reply, chasing a revised target of 240 in 86 overs, CAP President XI, were bundled out for 176 in 53.5 overs. Besides Prayas, Irshad Alam (2-31), Sayed Irfan Aftab (1-34) and Priyanshu Patel (1-31) impressed with the ball.
