CAB PLAYER TRANSFER: Abishek, Karan, Ankit stay on at Barisha Sporting Club

The ninth day of the Cricket Association of Bengal 2025-2026 players’ transfer process on Tuesday saw Barisha Sporting Club retaining a few of their star cricketers.
Star wicket-keeper batsman Abishek Porel, all-rounder Karan Lal, Ankit Mishra, Sumanta Gupta, Soummyadip Mandal, Balkesh Yadav, Prabhat Maurya, Ronit Ghosh, Sk Salim, who played for Barisha Sporting last season, remains with the club for the upcoming season as well.
Jayojit Basu, who played for Bhowanipore Club last season, made a move to Kalighat Club for the upcoming season.
A total of 86 players registered their names today at the players’ transfer.
The player transfer process will go on till September 15.
